Junior Auxiliary of Tipton County was founded 1976 and serves the entire Tipton County area through community and child welfare projects.

Members are encouraged render charitable services which are beneficial to the general public, with particular emphasis on children; and to cooperate with other organizations performing similar services. On average the chapter performs over 2,000 community service hours each year.

Junior Auxiliary of Tipton County is a part of the National Association of Junior Auxiliaries (NAJA), a non-profit organization founded in 1941 with headquarters in Greenville, MS. NAJA has more than 15,000 active, associate, and life members in 100 Chapters in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee and Texas.

Scholarship Program for Graduating Seniors Now Accepting Applications
Tipton County high school seniors who wish to pursue a degree in a child-related field are encouraged to apply for one of three college scholarships that the Junior Auxiliary of Tipton County is offering. The Junior Auxiliary of Tipton County College Scholarship Program is searching for outstanding students with academic success, community involvement, and a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of children. Junior Auxiliary of Tipton County Opens Mini-Grant Applications The Junior Auxiliary of Tipton County is pleased to announce the 2018 Mini-Grant opportunity for Tipton County teachers. These small grants are intended to allow teachers to acquire resources for programs and projects that enhance and supplement the educational experience of Tipton County students. The annual Fall Shopping Frenzy has become a popular annual community event that pairs local artisans and vendors with the Junior Auxiliary of Tipton County, offering an opportunity for shoppers to get a head start on their holiday gift shopping, while also serving as the primary fundraiser for the Junior Auxiliary of Tipton County’s service projects.
